Logitech CFO will step down in May, shares fall

March 18 (mod1s) - Logitech (LOGN.S), opens new tab announced on Monday its chief financial officer Charles Boynton would depart the firm in May. 

The Swiss business said Boyton is departing for a new professional opportunity and that his replacement will be revealed later. 

Boynton has been in the post for 1.5 years, while Logitech's new CEO Hanneke Faber joined the firm barely six months ago. 

Its shares sank roughly 6% on the announcement at the market open.

"The announcement may weigh on the shares as the departure coincides with the planned update on the long-term financial model," - Vontobel analysts said. 

The computer accessories producer in January said it is eyeing a return to revenue growth after reporting lower sales in prior quarters after the surging demand for its items during the epidemic.
